GlobalEd Project WINTER 2001-2002 SIMULATION

DEBRIEFING CONFERENCE AGENDA

The following questions will be used to guide our discussion in the on-line debriefing conference, to be held on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.

1.) In what ways did the simulation approach the real world of international relations and in what ways did it diverge?

2.) What (aside from the technology) was the most frustrating aspect of the simulation? Do you think this frustration exists in the real world?

3.) What was the most significant thing that you felt was accomplished during the simulations? Why?

4.) What would you change about the simulation and why?

5.) What was the most important thing you learned from participating in the simulation? Was it a skill, a fact, or insight into how complex diplomatic relations can be?

6.) Did your group remain ‘in character’ and true to the country you were representing?
