WEEKLY ASSIGNMENT FOR CPIN PROGRAM
10 POINTS
Each Thursday you must submit a short blurb to the international newspaper they should ask you to do this when they are ready for submission. This does not need to be very long, but should sum up your groups current position on simulation developments. Remember do not reveal secret negotiations here!
40 POINTS
Every Friday each group must turn in a minimum of two e-mails that have been sent in the simulation. Simply print out a hard copy of all e-mails sent and turn them in to me.
In addition to the text of your e-mails, you are expected to comment on why you wrote the messages. Simply jot down your purpose for each e-mail at the bottom of the message. Reasons include, but are not limited to:
- the accomplishment of specific goals
- clarifying issues
- responding to e-mails sent by other countries
Be sure to be specific in your comments i.e., "Germany has asked us about out current nuclear capabilities and to clarify what we hope to accomplish by voting no on their disarmament plan. We sent this message in order to maintain diplomatic relations with Germany but also to remain intentionally vague about our current nuclear power."
