Writing Messages For
Telecommunication Projects (CPIN)

• (an e-mail message or real time conferencing statement)
  

• Information or evidence of research (What do you know about the topic? What have you found out about the topic?)
  
• Ask questions of the other country (team) Questions related to their previous messages (refer to message number) or questions you want them to think about.
  
• Ask for clarification or further explanation of what the other team has stated. Ask them for proof /evidence/sources.
  
• Propose a solution to a problem. Think of ways that you can get their support – Suggest a treaty or agreement
  
• Answer questions the other countries have posed. Remember that you want them to answer YOUR questions.

MESSAGES CAN BE SENT TO ALL OR TO INDIVIDUAL COUNTRIES

TYPING MESSAGES- Cut and paste from Word into the Message Box at the Internet site or type online.

-Print 2 copies- One copy you keep for your files (you will need those later) and one copy you give to me with your disk

Handwritten on the top- Topic, Your Name, Date Sent

SOME OF YOUR MESSAGES WILL BE SHORT AND OTHERS WILL BE LONG- You should average 2-3 messages a week. You can send group and individual messages.

*Remember, you have to find time to send them as well.
