A Solstice Thriller!
 

A "gotta have" book --- it was the basis for Dario Argento's fabulous giallo
film "The Bird With the Crytstal Plumage."  "Frederic Brown scores again!" the
back cover tells us----another one from the author of The Clip Joint and
The Bloody Moonlight.  Pity the phrase has become so hackneyed. Of course,
it's the DOG who's named Mimi!  (Just kidding...)
 

I paid waaaaaay tooooo much for this at Necon a year ago, thanks to
Hal the Bookie (always a tempter!).
