I am a PhD student in the Medieval Studies Program at the University of Connecticut, where I teach Freshman English.  My area of concentration (if you can stretch the word that far) is Old Norse, Old Irish and Anglo-Saxon literature, with a dissertation on hagiography.  However I have a wide variety of interests as my CV and this website should demonstrate. I am a writer--a painful and frustrating vocation. At odd moments, I do a zine called Wombat's World.
