There are five special libraries on the Storrs campus established to house materials relating to special subjects or formats.

The Art & Design Library
collects resources relating to the visual arts, including art history, garden
history, graphic design, landscape architecture, photography, and studio arts.

Map & Geographic Information Center (MAGIC)
The Map & Geographic Information Center is an on-line library of digital geo-spatial data. The Map Library is a collection of over 150,000 maps, 20,000 aerial photographs, microforms, atlases and reference books.

The Music & Dramatic Arts
Library houses more than 72,000 books, playscripts, journals, musical scores,
sound and video recordings, CD-ROMs, and online resources related to research
in music and dramatic arts. Audiovisual playback facilities are available.

The Pharmacy Library provides information and supports academic research
in pharmacy and related subject areas.
