Standards
The Library does not own copies of most standards. It is sometimes possible for the Library to obtain a copy of a standard for patrons through the Library's Document Delivery service. If the Library does have a set of standards, the call number is listed after the entry below.
- American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
- American Society for Testing & Materials (ASTM) Searchable index of standards. Also includes descriptions and order information. The Library's collection of ASTM standards is located at REF TA401.A653.
- ASABE American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers standards. The Library's collection of ASABE standards is located at REF S671 .A32.
- ASME Codes & Standards
- IEEE Standards
- IHS Global Engineering Documents Indexes and sells domestic, foreign and international standards.
- International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Includes the ISO Catalogue; standards are listed by subject category and are searchable.
- International Telcommunications Union Allows searching for ITU standards, recommendations, current working groups and comments. Many of the standards are freely available in PDF format.
- Internet Tools Summary Provides information on standard Internet tools and protocols.
- National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Online catalog of NFPA codes and standards.
- SAE Standards Online catalog of SAE standards.
- U.S. National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST)
