University of Connecticut | Collections Services Area
The Colletions Services Area of the University Libraries provides leadership for collection development and collection management operations system-wide, through implementation, policy-setting, and consultation. The area seeks to increase the efficiency of selection and processing operations system-wide through greater centralization, streamlining of procedures, and greater reliance on vendor services. Staff effort is directed toward improved collections management and bibliographic control, and the integration of access to print and digital resources.
