Large Format Printing

 

In June 2006, we acquired a HP DesignJet 1050C large format color plotter for printing materials larger that 11x17.

The HP DesignJet 1050C Plus network-ready plotter offers a complete large-format media handling and productivity solution delivering HP's best line quality at top speed. It prints high quality output for CAD/GIS and graphics works and has a high print resolution (up to 1200 dpi black and 600 dpi color).

This printer allows us to provide poster printing services for UConn faculty staff, students and community members. For specific pricing information, please see our pricing page.

Some requirements:

  • Posters should be mailed to the IT Services Desk or dropped off in digital format no less than 24 hours before thy are needed.
  • Posters will be printed in color
  • Posters must be in Microsoft PowerPoint format.
  • Posters must be presized. Maximum width is 36" and maximum length is 300".
  • Posters are printed on HP coated paper.
